I am Satish Ambekar.

My journey in filmmaking began at the age of 14, driven by a deep fascination for films and storytelling. I started my career as a Camera Attendant, where I got my first understanding of filmmaking from the ground up. With every project, I learned, observed and gradually moved into Assistant Direction, working closely with experienced filmmakers and understanding the craft of storytelling.

My journey includes films such as Risk (2007), directed by Pravin Sawant; We Are On! Houn Jaude (2013), directed by Amol Palekar; Ra; and Nasheebvaan (2019) and Sumi (2022), directed by Amol Gole. I also worked with The Wedding Filmer alongside Vishal Punjabi and with Accord Production House as an Assistant Director.

Over the years, these experiences shaped my understanding of direction, storytelling, performances and the dynamics of a film set. I eventually began directing corporate films for brands including Morningstar, TurtleMint and Watch Your Health?

Today, as a Director, I bring together years of experience, observation and learning to create stories that are honest, engaging and visually driven.
