I am Satish Ambekar.

Satish started his work with accord equips, a camera rental store in Mumbai, India as store keeper where he was first introduced to camera, lenses and other equipment. One day, the camera attendant could not make it to shoot, during this urgency Satish stepped into the team for the day for the first time on a film set. Thus, the journey began, from a camera attendant to focus puller to assistant DP to DP (Director of Photography).
 
He assisted a brilliant cinematographer Amol Gole for 4 years. He is associated with Vishal Punjabi CEO of The Wedding filmer and work as gripper for the firm. Satish supervises the entire camera department at the Wedding Filmer.
With an experience in the professional film industry for 7 years he works as a cinematographer and have done various projects including short films, feature films, advertisements and more.
Satish has worked with a variety of camera, lenses, equipment and formats and he actively engages in researching new kind of cameras, formats, lenses, equipment and keeps experimenting.
 
Currently, Satish is learning with Hurburt Academy, US.
